RESOLVED, that the application of Twins Motor Hotel, Inc., owner of
the subject real estate, located at and embracing the northwest corner of Prior
and University Avenues in the City of Saint Paul, for -a permit authorizing the
enlargement of the e- Asting 70 -unit motel of said applicant on said premises,
heretofore authorized by the prior resolution of thin Council, C. F. No. 203501,
approved August 15, 1961, so that the same shall constitute a. 12$ -unit motel,
and for an additional permit authorizing the establishment, maintenance, and
operation of an off - street vehicle parking facility incorporating provisions
cur 137 separate,vehicular parking spaces, all in .accordance with the approved
plan therefor, herewith filed, hereby is in all things granted, subject to
;;aid applicant's 'compliance with all governing ordinances, Mate statutes, and

Dear Madam:
This is in the matter of the application of the Twins Motor Hotel Inc" for
a permit to enlarge a 70 unit motel to 1_28 units and provide off- strebt park-
ing for 137 cars on property located at the northwest corner of _Prior and
• University Avenues. The description is a miscellaneous one, a copy of whit
is attached. The zoning is light industry and has been since the adoption
of the Legislative Zoning Code in 1922.

The Property under consideration is vacant, and it is proposed to integrate
it,with the property directly to the east which is now being developed wit-
a 70 unit motel. This is an irregularly shaped tract of land with, .a f rontag�e

Field i'nvestigatio'n discloses no basic objection to the proposed enlargement.
The Traffic Engineer has approved the plans which meet the standards for this
type of facility. There will be no additional driveeways.
In consideration of the above factors, the Board of Zoning recommends the
granting of the permit as requested on the above described property in
accordance with plans approved February 15, 1962. �-
