INTERMEDIARY ORDER
In the Matter of opening, widening and extending East Califrania Ave. to a width
of 60 ft. from the west line of Registered Land Survey No. ..1,77 to the east line of
Registered Land Survey No. 177 by condemning and taking Tract D of Registered Land
Survey No. 177
Also opening, widening and extending David St. to a width of 50 ft. from the
north line of East Idaho Ave. to the south line of Registered Iand Survey No. 141
extended westerly by condemning and taking the west 30 ft. of the east 330 ft. of
the NE,- -T of the NW-W1 of Section 23, Township 29, Range 22 from the north line of
East Idaho Avenue -to the south line of Registered Iand Survey No. 141 extended
westerly
under Preliminary Order 202417 approved June 1, 1961
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves: _
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is to open, widen and
extend East California Ave. to a width of 60 ft. from the west line of Registered
Land Survey No. 177 to the-east line of Registered Land Survey No. 177 by condemning
and - taking Tract D of Registered Land Survey No. 177
Also open, widen and extend David St. to a width of 50 ft. from the north line
of East Idaho Ave. to the south line of Registered Land Survey No. 141 extended
westerly by condemning and taking the west 30 ft. of the east 330 ft. of the NFr
of the NFL of Section 23, Township 29, Range 22 from the north line of East Idaho
Avenue to-the south line of Registered Land Survey No. 141 extended westerly
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 525.00
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 17th day of
April, 1962 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the .Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
