RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the
Department of Public Works, Bureau of Municipal Equipment, 891 North Dale Street,
Saint Paul, Minnesota, One Browning SPR 11 Roller Self- Propelled Pneumatic
Tired Roller, to BEMENT- CAHILL EQUIPMENT COMPANY in accordance with City
specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #8674 of said Bement -
Cahill Equipment Company at a contract price of $7,230.00, such bid being the
lowest meeting specifications and said Bement - Cahill Equipment Company being a
reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is
authorized to draw up the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City
officials are hereby directed to execute said contract on behalf of the City of
