WHEREAS, Comptrollerts Contract L -6310, Pederson Bros. Com1
parry, contractor, for the prosecution of the 1961 Sidewalk
Contract, District No. 2, has been substantially completed, and
WHEREAS:p said contractor requests that a portion of the five
percent retained under the contract from estimates for work done,
be paid in advance of,the final completion of the contract,
and
WHEREAS, the Commissioner and Chief Engineer of the De artment
of Public Works approve payment at this time of 3,910.11 of
the $ 55310-11 retained, therefore., be it I
RESOLVED, that the proper City Officers be and they are hereby
authorized to pay an estimate in the amount of $ 3,810.E
from the retained percentage of $ 5,310.11 to said contractor,
and be it I
FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution shall have no force or
effect unless the Sureties on the contractor's bond consent
thereto in writing and file such consent with the City Coop
troller.
