A public hearing having been had upon the above improvement upon due notice, and the
having heard all persons, objections and recommendations relative thereto, and having fully co
the same; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of St. Paul that the precise nature, extent and kin
provement to be made by the said City is to reconstruct the sidewalk on both sides
Berkeley Ave. from Wheeler St. to Fairview Ave.�.except where good and suffic
sidewalks now exist
and the Council hereby orders said improvement to be made.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instrul
directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and submit same to the Col
approval; that upon said approval, the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed
teed with the making of said improvement in accordance therewith.

To the Commissioner of Finance of the City of Saint Paul:
The Commissioner of Public Works, having had under consideration the prel
liminary order of the Council.9 known as Council File No. 206141 I
approved Feb. 27th, �9 62 relative to reconstructing the side-
walk on both sides of Berkeley Ave, from Wheeler St, to Fairviel Ave.
and having investigated the matters and things referred to therein, hereby reports:
1. The estimated cost thereof is $0.52 .per sq, ft, for mono., cone., walk
4" thick. Extra work(excay., fill, cone. remtd, root cutting, drive
crossings, etc,) at extra cost. I
2. A plan, profile or sketch of said improvement is hereto attached and
a part hereof.
3. Initiated by the Commissioner of Public Works X
