re: Acceptance of Easement for
Sewer Purposes
Dear Mr. Swords:
Attached is a deed by the Phalen Center, Inc., conveying to the
City a 20 foot wide permanent easement for constructing and maintaining
a public sewer in vacated Geranium Avenue between Barclay Street and the
east line of Maryland Heights.
The sewer was built in Geranium Avenue prior to the vacation of
Geranium, and due to an oversight in the vacating proceedings, no
provision was made to retain an easement for the future maintenance of
the sewer.
Please check over and arrange for acceptance of the easement by
the City.
