WHEREAS, The City of Saint Paul, in S1.1 �6t`,;�i. lxhe Riverview District

Army Corps of Engineers, recognized the requirement for providing local
cooperation pursuant to the Federal policy as outlined by the U.S. Army
District Engineer, and
WHEREAS, The City of Saint

WHEREAS, It is expedient that the grading, surfacing and later
obliteration of such temporary roadway together with necessary miscellaneous
work be performed by City Forces; therefore, be it l
RESOLVED, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and he is hereb
authorized and directed to proceed with the construction of the West Wate
Street temporary by -pass road with City Forces and equipment, securing
such materials as are necessary, and such additional equipment by rental
as is necessary, through regular procedure, the estimated cost of said
work by the City being approximately $3,400.00, which amount should be
charged to Flood Control Project Bond Fund No. 4400. ,T,-IICAV

WHEREAS, The City of Saint Paul, in sponsoring the Riverview District
Flood Control Project, which project is now under construction by the U.S'
Army Corps of Engineers, recognized the requirement for providing local i
