WHEREAS, the City Evaluation Engineer has recommended to the Council{lof
the City of Saint Paul that a written leasing agreement be entered into by
and between the City of Saint Paul, as lessor, and the Blaugas Division of
Northern Propane Gas Company, as lessee, under the terms of which leasing
agreement the City would lease, on a month -to -month bases, at an agreed
monthly rental of Fifty ($50.00) Dollars per month, the following real estate:
The northerly 40 feet of that part of Charles Avenue lying westerly L
Hampden Avenue and adjoining Lots 24, 25 and 26, Hewitt's Omtlots First
Division, according to the map or plat thereof on file and of record in
the office of the Register of Deeds within and for Ramsey County,
Minnesota;' }
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 6924, a portion of said real estate

is .already permitted to be used by the aforesaid lessee, which permit will
be superceded by the aforesaid leasing agreement; and
WHEREAS, such funds and revenues received under said proposed leas
agreement should be credited to the Miscellaneous Revenue Fund; and
WHEREAS, said proposed lessee,and appropriate officers of the City
Saint Paul have entered into an oral agreement embodying the general

provisions of the leasing agreement proposed above, under which said
agreement funds have been received by said City and credited to the
priate revenue funds, as determined by the Comptroller of said City;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Corporation Counsel of the City of Saint Paullbe,
and hereby is, authorized and instructed to prepare the requisite written
agreements and ordinances to.effectuate the aforesaid proposed leasing
agreement between said City, as lessor, and the Blaugas Division of Northern
Propane Gas Company, as lessee; and
RESOLVED FURTHER; that the Corporation Counsel draft the necessary

ordinances to effectuate the rescinding of Ordinance No. 6924, approved
January 25, 1928, as superceded by the aforesaid leasing agreement andi
ordinances; and 1. 1
RESOLVED FURTHER, that revenues,received under the leasing agreement
aforesaid be credited to the Miscellaneous Revenue Fund; and t
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the presently existing and operative oral agree-
ment between said City and said Blaugas Division of Northern Propane Gas
Company be approved and authorized pending the drafting and execution
aforesaid written leasing agreement and ordinances. MAY
