RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Water
Department Filtration Plant, 1900 Rice Street, St. Paul, Minnesota, approximately
360 tons Hydrofluosilicic Acid for period of one year beginning April 1, 1962, to
THOMPSON HAYWARD CHEMICAL COMPANY in accordance with City specifications and the
Formal Bid #8691 of said Thompson Hayward Chemical Company for the contract price
of approximately $21,240.00, suclk bid being the lowest and said Thompson Hayward
Chemical Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder, and the Corporation Counsel
be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor and the
proper City officials are hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the
