RESOLVED, That the Council hereby apprpves the award of the Purchasing Committee therefor
and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Water Department, Hamlin
and Carroll Avenues, St. Paul, Minnesota - 3 - 30" and 2 - 20" Water Gate Valves to
DARLING VALVE AND MFG, COMPANY, MUNICIPAL SUPPLY CO., INC., AGENT, in'accordance with
City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #8649 of said company
for the contract price of $10,676.00,, such bid being the lowest meeting City specifications
and said Darling Valve and Mfg, Company, Municipal Supply Co., Inc. Agent, being a
reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed
to draw up the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City officials are
hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of
St.Paul.
