COUNCIL RESOLUTION - GENERAL FORM
February 27, 1962
WHEREAS, The City proposes to construct a by -pass roadway for
Water Street on Chicago & North Western Railway Company property at
about 630 feet east of the centerline of the High Bridge to enable
the contractor to construct the Riverview Storm Water Relief Sewer,
Contract I, Phase I, and
WHEREAS, The City has made application to the Chicago & North
Western Railway Company to locate said by -pass road on railroad
property, and
WHEREAS, The Chicago & North Western Railway Company has pre-
pared a letter permit to allow the City to use temporarily their
right -of -way for roadway purposes, be it
RESOLVED, That the Commissioner of Public Works be hereby
instructed to accept said permit on behalf of the City and return
two signed copies to Mr. B. R. Meyers, Vice President and Chief
Engineer, Chicago & North Western Railway Company.
