COMMISSIONE DATE
WHEREAS, the Comissioner of Public Safety has reported, in accordance with
Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period
from February 1, 1962 to March 5, 1962, which rendered necessary the employment
of certain-employees in the Department of Public Safety for more than eight
hours per day, or forty hours per week, in doing the following works
Maintenance work in the Bureau of Police & Fire Alarm, and
WMRLAS, this emergency arose byreason of the following fgots and circumstances:
Emergency repairing.of Traffic Signals during snag storm.
THERMBE BE IT RESOLVED: , _That the proper city officers are hereby authorized
to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions
of the Councilts Salary Ordinance No, 6446.
