RESOLVED, That William C. Knowlan, dba
Knowlan's Super,Market, owner of the subject premises,_
pursuant to his application therefor, hereby is granted
a Special Use Permit for the establishment and maintenance
of a special purpose off - street parking facility having
a storage capacity for thirty -four motor vehicles and
incorporating thirty -four separate motor vehicle parking
spaces therefor on the premises situate at and adjacent to
the northeast corner of Hague Avenue and St. Albans Street,
in the "City of Saint Paul, described as Lots 16, 17 and
18, Block 59 Holcombe's Addition as an enlargement or ex-
tension of the existing motor vehicle parking lot presently
permitted, established and maintained by said applicant on
said Lots 16 and 17; such Special Use Permit being con-
tingent upon said applicant's compliance with the following
provisions, terms and conditions:
1. That the entrances to said off-street
parking facility, both on the alley side and the
Hague Avenue side thereof shall be chained and
locked continuously between the hours of 9:30 P.M.
and 7:00 A.M.;
..� 2. That access to said off - street parking
facility shall be prevented continuously between
said hours of 9:30 P.M. and 7:00 A.M.;,
3. That an 8 ft. wide screen shrub buffer,
at all times, shall be planted and maintained along
and throughout the east line of said off - street park-
ing facility premises and such shrub buffer shall be
dense in growth and be maintained at a height not in
excess of 32 feet from the north line of said Hague
Avenue to the established building line for the
premises adjoining and immediately east of the same
- and at a height of at least 6 feet from said estab-
lished building line to the south line of the public
alley at the rear of said premises;

4. That the use of said off - street parking
facility shall be restricted to patrons of said
applicant's Super Market, designated Knowlan's
Super Market and located at the southwest corner
of said Hague Avenue and said St. Albans Street; and
5. That said off - street parking facility shall
be established and maintained in strict conformity
to the plans therefor submitted by said applicant
dated February 1, 1962, and filed herewith and in
compliance with all applicable provisions of ordi-
nances of said City and statutes of the State of
Minnesota.
RESOLVED, that the prior Resolution of this
Council, C. F. No. 206011, approved February 20, 1962,
hereby is superseded and repealed.
