Failure to relocate these zoo animals will result in the zoo having to maintai the animals in inadequate holding spaces. The following aze the animals and reason for their surplus status: ANIMAL Four (4) male bxown lemur REASON FOR SURPLUS Originally acquired or reproduced for exhibit. Since reorganizing our mixed lemur species group five years agq these male brown lemurs are no longer compatible with the other male brown and ring-tailed lemurs. These four males must continue to remain by themselves in holding cages in the basement of the Primate Facility. This is not an appropriate environment for these animals and alternate space is not available.
