WHEREAS, Comptroller's Contracts L- 6170 -7 for the Paving of SHEPARD
ROAD from Randolph Avenue to Otto Avenue, and OTTO AVENUE from Shepard
Road to W. 7th. Street; L-6376 for the Grading and Paving of WHITE
BEAR AVENUE from E.3rd. to Hudson Road and L-6394 for the
Grading and Paving of MARION STREET from 154 feet *orth of center -line
of Fuller ,Avenue to University Avenue, Ashbach Construction Company,
Contractor, have been substantially completed, and
WHEREAS, said Contractor requests that a portion of the-15% ratained on
each contract from estimates for work done, be paid in advance of the
final estimates upon completion of the contracts, and
WHEREAS, the Commissioner and Chief Engineer of the Department of Public
Works a)ppro ve payment at this time of the following amounts of the
retained percentage, to -wit:
Contract L- 6170 -7, $38,625.00 of the $ 16,350.01 ratained
Contract L -6376 , $ 9 .,550.00 of the $ 11,460.00 retained
Contract L -6391 , 7,303.12 of the $ 8o763-75 retained,

RESOLVED, that the proper City Officials' be and they are hereby 'authorized
to pay estimates in the amounts of %625.00; .00; 0.00; 17403.12

FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution shall have no force or effect
