RESOLVED, That the'Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor, materials, equip-
ment -and services necessary for or reasonably incidental to the installation
of new multiple speed counterweight system, new steel and related equipment at
the Municipal Auditorium,
Theater Section, Saint Paul, Minnesota to J. R. CIANCY, INC.
in accordance with
City plans and specifications therefor hereto attached and the
Formal Bid #8755 of
said J. R. Clancy, Inc. for the contract price of $103,642.00,
such bid being the
lowest and said J. R. Clancy, Inc. being a reasonable and
reliable bidder, and
the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is di t rected to draw up
the proper form of
contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are
authorized to execute
said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
