5 Be it RESOLVED, that in accordance with Section 85.01 dealing wlth Water
6 Charges, the Council does hereby set a public hearing of the proposed Water
7 Charges for the year 2008 on November 7, 2007 at 5:30 p.m. in the Council
8 Chambers. The City Clerk is hereby directed fo publish notice of said hearing, the
9 publication of which is to be had at least ten (10) days before the public hearing in
10 a newspaper of general circulation.

To meet expected budget needs for 2008, water rates must be adopted. According to requirements in Section 85.01 of the Saint Paul
Legislative Code, a Public Hearing must be held prior [o adopting new rates. The attached resolution sets November 7, 2007 as the
date of the heazing. The resolution setting the rates will fo7low undez another green sheet.
