RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor, materials and
services necessary for or reasonably incidental to the wrecking of dwellings,
garages, shed and removal of walls, steps, walks, floors, retaining wall,
miscellaneous concrete and debris located at 1102 Montreal Avenue, Lots 1 and 2,
Block 1, Kipp's Glen Terrace and 1781 Benson Avenue, Lots 15 and 16, Block 1,
Kipp is Glen Terrace and 1780 Benson Avenue, Lots 1 and 2, Block 7, Kipp's Glen
Terrace, Saint Paul, Minnesota to MINNESOTA LUMBER & WRECKING CORPORATION in
accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid
#8723 of said Minnesota Lumber & Wrecking Corporation, City to pay Contractor
$1,150.00, such bid being the lowest and said Minnesota Lumber & Wrecking
Corporation being a reliable and reasonable bidder and the Corporation Counsel
be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and
the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on
behalf of the City of =Saint Paul.
