RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee`
therefor and hereby awards contract for Grading & Paving St. Paul Avenue from
Edgcumbe Road to Cleveland Avenue and Cleveland Avenue from St. Paul Avenue to
Ford Parkway (Municipal State Aid Project 64- 189 -01) to MC CREE & COMPANY in
accordance with City plans and specifications therefor hereto attached and the
Formal Bid #8706 of said McCree & Company for the contract price of $271,145.10,
at unit prices bid, (plus Water Dept. Charges $2,475.00, plus Engineering $21,691.61,
plus Inspection $5,422.90 and plus Traffic Signals Relocatioh $250.00 by City Forces)
such bid being the lowest and said McCree & Company being a reasonable and reliable
bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper
form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized
to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul. "
