FURTHER RESOLVED, that reh pay be implemented effective as of

FINALLY RESOLVED, that this resolution shall take effect and be in force on the first
pay period following its passage and approval.

initiating Problem, Issues, Opportunity (Who, What, When, Where, Why):
The Payroll System Supervisors jointly requested a study of their positions to determine appropriate classification and compensation.
Following a re-study of addirional informauon submitted by the Payroil System Supervisors, the Office of Human Resources
determined that the incumbents are performing at a higher-level classification and, therefore, an upgrade in AFSCME Clerical and
ritle change is appropriate.
Advantages If Approved:
Appropriate compensation will be assigned to the classification in accordance with the City's job evaluation system.
Disadvantages If Approved:
None.
Disadvantages 1f Not Approved:
Appropriate compeosation will not be assigned to the classification.
