before a date which is one year after the date of final approval of
this,order; and that, further, the Department of ]Public Works, through
its Chief Engineer, is hereby authorized and directed to fill in and
remove such areaways, coal -holes tznpdrors, tunnels and other under-
ground facilities of every description, the permittees of which area -
vays, coal- holes, trapdoors, tunnels and ether underground facilities
of ever�r description fail to reconstruct the sate to the satisfaction
of the City Engineer on or before the above.meationed date.

-That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed and
directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and submit same to the Council for
approval; that upon said approval, the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to pro-
ceed with the making of said improvement in accordance therewith.
