In the Matter of authorizing and concurring in
the submission by the Housing and Redevelopment
Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota,
of Application for Reservation of Low Rent Housing
and for a Preliminary Loan
WHEREAS, on June 27, 1962, the Housing and Redevelopment
Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota, did enact its
Resolution No. 62- 6/27 -2, of which Resolution a certified copy
is hereto attached and made a part hereof by reference; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul concurs
with the findings and determination of the Housing and Redevelopment
Authority of said City, that there is a need for low rent housing
to meet needs not adequately met by private enterprise within the
area of operation of said Authority; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the City of Saint Paul concurs with and
approves the following Resolution of the Housing and Redevelopment
Authority of the City of Saint�Paul, Minnesota:
1. That the Executive Dilrector of the Housing and
Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul
Minnesota, or in the absence of the Executive Director,
the Assistant Director, shall cause to be prepared and
the Chairman of said Authority and the Executive Director,
or in his absence, the Assistant Director, shall sign and
send to the Public Housing Administration (PHA) an
application for a reservation of 250 dwelling units of
low rent housing and'fc(r a Preliminary Loan in the amount
of approximately $42,500.00 to be spent for the preparation
of housing surveys and {preliminary plans for the development
of a low rent housing project or projects consisting of
the aforesaid units and necessary appurtenances.

WHEREAS, the housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul,
Minnesota, has found and hereby determines that there is a need for low rent
