Gentlemen:
After an inspection,of� the two family dwelling, at 308 North
Smith Avenue, it is fo' nd that this building should be con-
demned because of its dilapidated condition. It is on prop-
erty described as: Except.Southwesterly 3 feet of Northwest-
erly 162 feet, Lot 2, lock 50,. Dayton & Irvine's Addition to
.Saint Paul.
This is a two story frame structure, approximately 22 by 45
feet, open to vandals hand children. All plumbing and electri-
cal fixtures have beenlremoved. There are large holes, in the
plaster, fl6ors are settling and uneven, door,and window
frames have been removed, siding has been removed, stair rail
is missing, the inside of the dwelling is a shambles. This
structure should be wrecked and removed.
A Danger Notice has been posted. The last known record owner
is Sherman Court Professional Building, Inc., c/o Dr. Arthur
Schmidt, Minneapolis Savings And Loan,, 2 East Fourth Street,
Saint Paul 1,.Minnesota.
It is recommended that this. building be condemned and a hear-
ing set in accordance with Section 1.07 -2 of the Saint Paul
Legislative Code, which section outlines condemnation proced-
ure.
