RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the
Department of Public Works, Bureau of Bridges, 456 Burgess, Saint Paul, Minnesota,
Creosoted Timber, to WHEELER LUMBER & BRIDGE & SUPPLY COMPANY in accordance with
City specifications and the Formal Bid #8863 of said Wheeler Lumber & Bridge &
Supply Company for the contract price of $5,137.10, such bid being the lowest and
said Wheeler Lumber & Bridge & Supply Company being a reasonable and reliable

bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is authorized to draw up the proper
form of contract therefor and the proper City officials are hereby directed to
execute said contract on behalf
