Council City of Saint Paul Gentlemen: Your attention is called to the three story apartment building known as 232 -240 .SouthlWestern Avenue, Saint Paul 2, Minnesota, described as North 75 feet of Lot 8, Davis Addition to St. Paul., and rn- = aiu—aUUi tiuii, subject to party wall agreement'the South 27.3 feet of North 75 feet of Lot 5 and Except North 47.7 feet;, Lot .6, Block 12, Winslow's Addition to St. Paul. ` This building bias twenty -two apartments, is of ordinary construc- tion, 96 by 40 feet, and violated the building and housing codes, and is detrimental to the health and safety of the tenants. No ventilation provided in some of the bathrooms, plaster is cracked and full of holes, gas wall jets are uncapped, light fixtures are loose, windows are broken, onely one means of egress from some of the'apartments, illegal plumbing and electri- cal work, front entrance steps have dry rot and railings are loose and missing. This building is dangerous to life, limb, and adjoin- ing property and should1be wrecked and removed. The last known record owner is S. David Greenberg, 391 Mt. Curve Boulevard, St. Paul 5.
