Damico, 653 Bedford Street, St. Avenue, St. Paul 1, and copy of Palm, Attorney, 965 Payne Avenue, In this matter, the following resolutions were adopted by the City Council: C.F. 197975, adopted by the Council July 12, 1960 (published July 16, 1960), set a public hearing at 10 A.M. August 3, 1960. C.F. 198345:, adopted by the Council August 4, 1960 (published August 6,''1960), ordered the wrecking by and at the separate cost and expense of the owner, occupant,_, or other person in control thereof. C.F. 203809, adopted by the Council September 7, 1961 (published September 9, 1961) directed the Commissioner of Parks And Recrea- tion And Public Buildings to enter the premises and wreck and re- move the single family dwelling and garage thereon, and to do any and all things therein necessary for the protection of life, limb and adjoining property. C.F. 204711, adopted by the Council November 9, 1961 (published November 10, 1961), approved the award of the contract for wreck- ing to Truck Crane Service Co. for the sum of $565.00 in accord- ance with specifications and informal bid no. 3230. RIORDAN Council Recorder July 3, 1962 The City Council requested that you prepare a resolution setting a date for hearing in the matter of confirming the cost to the city in the amount of $620.88 in connection with the wrecking and removal of a condemned building at 653 Bedford St., as more fully described in the attached letter of the City Architect. Very truly yours, City Clerk CITY OF SAINT PAUL - MINNESOTA S #2 - Hon. Council C.F. 207372, adopted by the Council May 24, 1962 (published May 26, 1962) provided that the wrecking expense of $565.00 and expense of the Department of Parks And Recreation And Public Buildings in connection with the condemnation in the amount of $55.88, making a total of $620.88,, be paid out of Wrecking Condemned Buildings, 31 G 22, and, in the event said sum proves collectible from the owner, same is to be credited to 31 G 22. The structures have now been satisfactorily wrecked and a regis- tered bill mailed to the owners. We are requesting, that you hold a public hearing with ten days' notice to consider any complaintsabout the expenses incurred and to confirm the amount. The Council resolution confirming the expense should end with a directive to the City Clerk to file a statement of expense,for the purpose of securing a lien on* the property. Yours truly; Alfr H.
