RESOLVED, that this Council's approval of the
appointment of Philip L. Leier as Deputy Commissioner,
and of the appointment of W. Lamont Kaufman, as Super-
intendent of Parks, as made by the Commissioner of Parks
and Recreation and Public Buildings and this Council's
concurrence in said appointments effective June 5, 1962,
under its prior Resolution Council File No. 207491, ap-
proved said date, are hereby granted and confirmed and
said prior Resolution hereby is amended effective as of
said date by the deletion therefrom of the following language,
to -wits, D. R. Kothe as General Manager of Parks and Recrea-
