AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING CODE, CHAPTERS 60 TO 64, INCLUSIVE, OF THE SAINT PAUL LEGIS- LATIVE CODE PERTAINING TO USE DISTRICTS, HEIGHT DISTRICTS AND REZONING AND GRANTING SPECIAL USE PERMITS PERTAINING TO CERTAIN PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL, AS AMENDED, THIS IS AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE RENDERED NECESSARY FOR THE PRESERVATION OF THE PUBLIC PEACE, HEALTH, AND SAFETY. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN: SECTION 1 That the Zoning Code, Chapters 60 to 64, in- clusive, of the Saint Paul Legislative Code, pertaining to Use Districts, Height Districts and rezoning and granting special use permits pertaining to certain prop- erties in the City of Saint Paul, as amended, be and the same hereby is further amended in the following particulars, to -wit: That paragraph (m) of Section 64.03 of Chapter 64 -of said Saint Paul Legislative Code be and said paragraph (m) hereby is amended by adding thereto as the second sentence of the same the following sentence, to -wit: "Permit the construction, establishment, maintenance and operation of a Special Purpose Off- street Parking Facility, in a "C" Residence District, on a tract or parcel of land embracing three platted lots or equivalent area, four platted lots or equivalent area, or five platted lots or equivalent area, immediately or save for the intervention of a public alley adjoining premises classified in either a Commercial District or a Light Industry District or actually employed for a commercial or light industry use nonconforming and valid at its inception and where the subject tract or parcel of land located in such "C" Residence Dis- trict, together with immediately adjoin- ing land in such Commercial District or such Light Industry District consti- tute a plot of land in a single ownership allocated to a single purpose,a permit may be granted for the extension of the Commercial District or Light Industry Dis- trict use over the entire plot as necessary Yeas Councilmen Nays DeCourcy Holland Loss Mortinson Peterson Rosen Mr. President (Vavoulis) Attest• /l r 1M 11 -61 22 City Clerk Passed by the Council Approved: Mayor Tn Favor Against Oririnal to City Clerk ARW ORDINANCE COUNCIL FILE NO ?0'9.1._9 PRESENTED BY ORDINANCE NO.
