Whereas, in connection with repairing and resurfacing
Trunk Highway No. 12 on University Avenue between Park Avenue
and the West City Limits, it is necessary to remove pavement
and place concrete pavement and plant mixed bituminous surface
and seal coat and do other miscellaneous work, Therefore be it,
Resolved, that the Commissioner of Public Works be and he
is hereby authorized to roceed with such work with City Forces
at an estimated cost of 170,750.00 plus Engineering expenses
in the amount of $8,537.00 or a total estimated cost of $179,287.00,
said work to be charged to the P.I.R. Fund Code 3001, said Fund
to be reimbursed from the Minnesota Highway Department under
Extra - Ordinary Maintenance Agreement No. 966.
