A public hearing having been had upon the above improvement upon due notice, and the Council
having heard all, persons, objections and recommendations relative thereto, and having fully considered
the same; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of St. Paul that the precise nature, extent and kind of im-
provement to be made by the said City is to improve Prior Avenue from Minnehaha Avenue to
Pierce Butler. Route by regrading, paving and curbing the roadbed and street, alley and
driveway returns; by constructing storm water drainage facilities; by reconstructing
existing paving, curbing and sidewalks where necessary; by oonstructing sewer, water
and gas service connections where necessary; by constructing an annQmental lighting
system and by doing all other work which is necessary and incidental to complete said
improvement.'
and the Council hereby orders said improvement to be made.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed and
directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and submit same to the Council for
approval; that upon said approval, the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to pro-
ceed with the making of said improvement 1 §,tecordance therewith.

I transmit herewith a preliminary estimate of cost for improving Prior Avenue
from Minnehaha Avenue to Pierce Butler Route by regrading., paming and curbing the
roadbed and street., alley and driveway returns; by constructing storm water drainage
facilities; by constructing existing paming, curbing and sidewalks where necessary;
by constructing sewer., water and gas service connections where necessary; by con-
structing an ornamental lighting system and by doing all other work which is necessary
and incidental to complete said improvement., under Preliminary Order C.F. 207803.,
approved June 26., 1962. 1
Ornamental lighting was included in Preliminary Order C.F. 207803 but is not
included in the preliminary estimate. If the ornamental lighting.is approved, it
will be included in a sepaxate lighting contract under a new Preliminary Order.
