Whereas, C. F. 208763 approved August 22, 1962 ratified and
confirmed condemnation and awards of damages in the matter of partially
opening, widening and extending the proposed Short Line Road from
Summit Avenue to St. Clair Avenue in the amount of $301,097.80 to be
financed from Bond Fund 200 St -9, and
Whereas, there is now an unencumbered balance of $130,767.18
in Bond Fund 200 St -9 which is insufficient to finance the total
acquisition cost, and
Whereas, a request has been made to the Council Adv "ory
Committee for Bond Fund Expenditures for transfer of unused Bond
Fund money from completed projects to Bond Fund 200 St -9 to finance
the above stated acquisition costs, and
Whereas, the City Technical Committee has reviewed said proposed
transfers and has recommended approval of same to the Council Advisoryf
Committee on Bond Fund Expenditures, now therefore be -it,
Resolved, that pending the anticipated approval by the Council
Advisory Committee for Bond Fund Expenditures and the City Council of
the transfer of Bond Fund money, the acquisition cost of $301,097.80
be charged to the Permanent Improvement Revolving Fund and this same
fund to be reimbursed from Bond Fund 200 St -9 in the amount of $130,767.18
and temporarily from City's Share of Local Improvement Fund, Code 31 E -1
in the amount of $170,330.62, until such time as the above mentioned ='
request has been approved.
