RESOLVED, That Paul Gores be permitted to install
and operate a 17 -car private off - street parking lot iniconjunction
with a proposed 17 unit apartment building on propertyllocated on
the north side of Minnehaha Avenue between Payne Avenue and
Edgerton Street and described as Lots 16, 17, 18, Block 3, Borup
and Payne's Addition, in accordance with plans approved August 2,
1962, subject to compliance with the provisions of all ordinances
governing the operations of parking lots and to the co dition
that the sidewalk abutting aid premises be g p rem kept clean ,and free
of ice and snow at all times.

The City Council requested that you prepare a resolution granting the
attached application of Paul Gores for permit to install and operate
a 17-car private off-street parking lot in conjunction with a proposed
17 -unit apartment building on the north side of Minnehaha Ave. between
Payne Ave. and Edgerton St., described as Lots 16, 17,18, Block 3, Borur
and Payne's Additiop, in accordance with plans approved August 2, 1962.

Dear Madam:
This is in the matter of the application of Paul Gores to install
and operate a 17 car private off-street parking lot in conjunction
with a proposed 17 unit apartment building on property located on
the north side of Minnehaha Avenue between Payne Avenue and Edgerton
Street and described as Lots 16, 17, 18, Block 3, Borup and Payne's
,Addition. The property is zoned "C" residence. I
On May 20, 1959, the�City Council granted a permit for a 16 car
private off- street parking lot on the site which was not constructed.
(C.F. 192412) The applicant now wishes to increase the size of the
building to 17 units and has submitted amended plans showing the
new proposal. The proposal meets the required standards for build-
ing ground coverage and density.
The Traffic Engineer has approved the plan which meets the standards
for this type of facility. Field investigation discloses no objection
to the increase as requested. I
In consideration of the above factors, the Board of Zoning recommends
the granting of the application for a 17 car private off- stree� park-
ing lot on the above described property in accordance with plans
approved August 2, 1962.
