RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed and directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and submit same to the Council for approval; that upon said approval, the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to pro- ceed with the making of said improvement in accordance therewith. The estimated cost thereof is $ 0.52 per sq. ft. for mono. cone. walk 4" thick. Extra work(excay., fill, cone. rem`d, root cutting(; drive crossings, etc.) at extra cost. 2. However, I understand that a letter requesting it is sufficient. I think, if you will refer to your records, you will. see that last year, your department placed tar and pitch in various spots on sidewalks on Zzeter Plaoe, which are a menace to pedestriaz.s. At that time we were told that the sidewalks would be replaced at the earliest possible tins' this simmer. Again we are requesting that our sidewalk be replaced.
