RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the awai:d of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for Street Lighting on Robert'Street from
Eighth to Central; Eighth Street from Robert to Sibley; Sibley Street from Eighth
to Seventh; Seventh'Street from Sibley to Rosabel to KEHNE ELECTRIC COMM, INC.
in accordance with City plans and specifications therefor hereto attached and the
Formal Bid #8925 of said Kehne Electric Company, Inc. for the contract price of
$42,295.00, plus $2,539.00 Engineering & Inspection by City Forces, such bid being
the lowest and said Kehne Electric Company, Inc. being a reasonable and reliable
bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper
form of contract therefor, and the proper City 6fficials hereby are authorized to
execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
