S. Army Corps of Engineers, it is necessary for the City of St. Paul to assist in the building of the flood protection levee, and Whereas, the City of St. Paul is required to place a 2_inch asphaltic concrete mat, oil and maintain an access road for borrow material for the levee construction at an estimated cost-of $4,000.00 and, Whereas, the City of St. Paul has agreed to obliterate the existing Daniel Street from the levee northerly to the Harriet Island'Pavilion with .all incidental work thereto at an estimated cost of $3,000.00 and, Whereas, it is necessary for the City of St. Paul to construct temporary roadways and temporary surfacing on ramps designated "C ", "D ", and "E" for access purposes at an estimated cost of $79000.00, now therefore be it, I Resolved, that the Commissioner of Public Works be and he is hereby authorized and.directed to proceed with the above mentioned work with City Forces and Equipment at an estimated cost of $141,000.00 which amount is to be charged to the Permanent Improvement Revolving Fund, Code 3001, this same fund to be reimbursed from Flood Control Project Bond Fund No. 4400. 2ouncil, File No: 2088 §0 —By Milton Rosen — Whereas, In connection with the Etiverview District Flood Control Proj- �ct, which is now under construction py the U.
