PAUL OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK CIL RESOLUTION — GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY COMMISSION CE OUNCIL NO FILE t 208817 WEEREAS, The City Clerk has reported, in accordance with Section 53 of the.City Charter, the existence of an emergency duringithe period from August 13 to August 25 -which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the City Clerk's Office for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: The Registration Bureau was open until 19 P.M- August 13 to August 21, Saturday included for registration of. voters. Employees in the Voting Machine Warehouse worked Saturday, August 25th preparing the voting machines for the Election of Sept. 11th. ` And WHEREAS, This emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: Preparing for the election of September 11, 1962, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED That the proper city officers are hereby authorised to pay the employees who performed such work in accord- ance with the provisions of the Council's salary ordinalnce, Ordinance No.6446.
