PRESENTED BY ;r122acaa 9ra `,; IV- COMMISSIONER- A DATE meal Y ^Z V i Im RESOLVED, upon the report and recommendation of City Valuation Engineer and pursuant to Sections 303 and 391 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, and upon the'recommendation of the Board of Education as contained in said Board's resolution approving the acquisition of the property known as 797 Clear Avenue, legally described as: The east 13 feet of Lot 26 and all of Lot ' 27 except the east 4 feet thereof, Block 3, King's Arcade Park, according to the plat tlfreof ,on file and of record in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for Ramsey County, Minnesota; that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to pay to Richard 0. Fuhrman and Evelyn C. Fuhrman the sum of $17,800.00, said sum to be paid to the aforedescribed owners of the property from'Bond Fund 5903 -B upon the furnishing of an abstract of title, continued to date, evidencing good marketable title in Richard 0. Fuhrman and Evelyn C. Fuhrman and upon tender by them of a warranty deed granting to the City of Saint Paul a fee simple interest in the property known as 797 Clear Avenue and described as: The east 13 feet of Lot 26 and all of Lot,27 , except the east 4 feet thereof, Block 3, Kings Arcade Park, according to the plat thereof on file and of record in the office of.the Register of Deeds in and for Ramsey County, Minnesota; said property to be used in connection with the operation of the new Johnson High School, all as authorized and requested by the Board of Education of the City of Saint Paul, it being understood that the owners:areto have the privilege of removing the dwelling and garage from the above described premises, at their own cost and expense, provided that they remove the foundation walls to 3 feet below lot grade and remove all debris so that the Department of Education may fill the basement -with sand or other material "as they ' see fit to use.
