AU RIZATION OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
PRESENTED BY HON DATE August 22 1962
RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for Street Lighting on W. 5th Street from
St. Peter to Smith; W. 6th Street from St. Peter to Main; W. 7th Street from St.
Peter to Seven Corners; Auditorium from 6th to 9th; W. 9th Street from Auditorium
to St. Peter to KEHNE ELECTRIC COMPANY, INC. in accordance witW City plans and
specificatiorrs therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #8923 of said Kehne
Electric Company, Inc. for the contract price of $64,743.00, plus $3,885.00
Engineering & Inspection by City Forces, such bid being the lowest and said Kehne
Electric Company, Inc. being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation
Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of, contract therefor,
and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on
behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
