WHEREAS, Proceedings have been instituted to -wit:
City of Saint Paul vs. C. G. Hein, individual doing business
as the C. G. Rein Company and the Aagard Building C,ompany,
a Minnesota corporation, to recover part of the cost of
resurfacing of the street over the water trench on Pedersen
Street, between Highway 12 to Suburban Street; and
WHEREAS, It has been determined that the cost of
such repair to be $1095.79 and it would be in the best
interest of the parties involved that settlement bei4made;
therefore, be it

RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint
Paul that the Corporation Counsel is hereby authorized to
compromise Registered Bill RB- 18523, upon the following
basis:
That the Department of Public Works, the Board
of Water Commissioners and Mr. Rein, each contribute
one -third of the total bill, or in the amount of
$365.27 in final settlement.
