WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Public Safety has reported, in
accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the exIstence

of an emergency during the period from October 1, 1962 to Oc-

toter 31, 1962, Mich rendered necessary the employment of k

certain employees in the Department of Pablic Safety fbr more
than eight hours per day,' or forty hours per Week, in doling
the following works !

WHEREAS, This emergency arose by reason of the following facts

Lack of personnel to type reports and keep
current records up to date.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the proper city officers are
hereby authorized to pay !the employees who performed such work
in accordance with the provisions of the Council's Salary Or-
dinance No. 6446.
