t RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of
Saint Paul, Minnesota, taking note of the recent action of
President John F. Kennedy in placing a quarantine on'Cuba,
for the purpose of preventing the buildup of offensive
weapons, wishes to express on behalf of the citizens'of
Saint Paul, in its official representative capacity,lwhole-
hearted support of this action as it is believed this'will
tend to curb the spread of communism in the world; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution
be telegraphed to the President, at the White House, Washington, D.C.
