WHEREAS, the St. Anthony ParkS'tate,Bank is desirous of constructing
a steel frame sign, dimensioned approximately 4 feet by 6 feet, said sign
to be located on land located adjacent to said Bank building and on real
estate owned by the City of Saint Paul, which specific parcel of real estate
is described as follows:
The Northeasterly seven (7) feet of Lot Two, '?
Block 38, St. Anthony Park North,
said real estate being part of Como Avenue as now opened and approximately
2 feet southeasterly of the northwesterly line of said Lot 2; and
WHEREAS, an ordinance is being prepared by the Corporation Counsel to
effect the permission of the Council of the City of Saint Paul'for the con-
struction of said sign; and
WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works and the City Engineer have
informally approved the erection of said steel frame - .sign-
NOW Therefore, be it
I
RESOLVED, That the Council of said City does hereby grant temporary
permission to the St. Anthony Park State Bank for the erection and construc-
tion of the steel frame sign on the real property, all as set forth above,
subject'to:
1. Written approval of the Commissioner of Public Works.and the Com-
missioner of Parks, Recreation and Public Buildings as to all plans and spec-
ifications regarding said steel frame sign; and
2. That said construction shall be guarded day and night so as to pre-
vent damages which may be sustained in any way by reason or consequence of
such construction; and
3. That said Bank, at its own expense shall provide policies of public
liability and property damage insurance•with limits of liability to be approved•
by the Corporation Counsel.
