WHEREAS, the Council finds that the City no longer
has any need for the property hereinafter described and that
the same is no longer useful for City purposes, but is needed
by the Port Authority in connection with its operations; now,
therefore be it ;;
RESOLVED, That pursuant to law and upon the recommendation
of George M. Shepard, Street and Highway Engineering Coordinator,
the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby authorizes and directs
the proper City officers to execute on behalf of the City of
Saint Paul, a quit claim deed to the tract or parcel of land lying
in Ramsey County, Minnesota, described as follows:
Commencing at the northwest'corner-of �Section,
Township 28 North, Range 23 West, thence south along
the west section line of said Section 4, a distance
of 529.9 feet, thence south 640451 east a distance
of 219.7 feet, thence south 640441 east a distance of
601.9 feet, thence south 25008' west a distance of 81.4
feet to a point also known as point L-14 on the proposed
1935 United States Harbor Line which was established in
1940, which point is the point of beginning of,'the
property to be described, thence south 63 10'''east to
the intersection with a line 550 feet west of,j1as measured
at right angles from the north and south quarter line of _r
Section 4, Township 28 North, Range 23 West, and parallel
thereto, thence north along the last describe& parallel
line to the intersection with the southerly line of Warner
Road, thence northwesterly along the southerly,line of
Warner Road to the point of beginning.
