Whereas, Deductions might prove to be necessary in the
improvement described as the Construction of the Afton Heights
Ad@ition Sewer System, Comptrollerts Contract L -6382, F. Morettini
Construction Company, Contractor, have been provided for in the
specifications, and
Whereas, It has been found necessary to make the following
deductions:
50 Tons Gravel or Crushed Rock for Pipe Bedding @ $5.00 - $250.00
Seeding on Winthrop St. from Jonquil St. to East
View Ave. over Sewer Trench Lump Sum - 50.00
Net deduction to Contract $300.00
Whereas, the total deduction is $300.00, now therefore be it,
Resolved, That the City of St. Paul, through its City Council
approves the foregoing deduction, made in accordance with the
specifications in -the sum of $300.00, said amount to be deducted
from the Contractoknown as L -6382 for the making of the above
improvement.

The Commissioner of Public Works has agreed with the above
named contractor that the sum of $300.00 is the correct amount to
be deducted from the above contract.
