Whereas, In the matter of Comptrollert's Contract L -6382 for
construction of Afton Heights Addition Sewer System F. Morettini �!
Construction Company, the specified date of completion is
N ®vember 1, 1961, and,
Whereas, the Contractor has prosecuted the work diligently',�
but due to delay in delivery of the lift station for pumping
sewage to the outlet it was not possible to complete the contract
by said date of completion, therefore be it,
Resolved, that the proper City Officials be and they are
hereby authorized and directed to execute an amendment to said 1•
contract extending the time of completion to September 15, 1962 111;
Provided, however, that this resolution shall have no force or
effect unless the sureties on the contractor's bond consent �t
thereto and file such consent in writing with the City Comptroller,
and be it,
Further Resolved, that the City of St. Paul hereby waives
all claim for liquidated damages and that no engineering and
inspection costs bn this project will be charged to the Contractor
for such extended period. ---,
