A public hearing having been had upon the above improvement upon due notice, anoj fthp,, Council
having heard all persons, objections and recommendations relative thereto, and having fully considered
the same; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Council of the City, of St. Paul that the precise nature, extent and kind of im-
provement to be made by the said City is to change the grade of East 5th Street from Hazel
Street to the West line of Lot 8, Block 6, Robert L. Ware's Eastern Heights to conform
to the grade as shown on the profile in the Department of Public Works. Also,
grade and surface with bituminous material East 5th Street from Hazel Street to West
line of Lot 8, Block 6, Robert L. Ware's Eastern Heights to the proposed change of
grade.
and the Council hereby orders said improvement to be made.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed and
directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and submit same to the Council for
approval; that upon said approval, the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to pro-
ceed with the making of said improvement in accordance therewith.

liminary order of the Councilp known as Council File No, 207648
approved June 12, 1962 relative to
Grading and surfacing with bituminous material E. 5th Street from Hazel
Street to West Line of Lot 8, Block 6, Robert L.Ware's Eastern Heights
and having investigated the matters and things referred to therein, hereby reports:
1. The estimated cost thereof is $ 8,200.00
2. A plan., profile or sketch of said improvement is hereto attached and made
a part hereof.
