RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing-Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering foreign and
domestic periodical subscriptions and newspaper subscriptions to the Public Library
for the year 1963, to REGINALD F. FENNELL SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE,in accordance with
City specifications and the Formal Bid #8951 of said Reginald F. Fennell Subscription
Service for the contract price of $5,479.47, such bid being the lowest and said
Reginald F. Fennell Subscription Service being a reasonable and reliable bidder
and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form
of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to
execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
