CITY CHARTER AMENDMENT
The proposed Charter Amendment provides for revision of approxi-
mately 108 sections and addition of approximately 4 sections to the Charter
of the City of Saint Paul so as to modernize the Charter and bring it into
line with current municipal practices. The amendment, among other things,
authorizes revisions of certain sections of the Charter so as to make them
consistent with provisions of state law, provides for the elimination of
clerical mistakes and errors heretofore existent in said Charter, and further
provides for the elimination of obsolete and outmoded provisions, and pro-
vides for other similar and related matters as per Notice of Election.

A Special Ordinance to provide additional budget funds of $1,200,000
for the Department of Parks and Recreation and Public Buildings for
Bituminous Surfacing Program, by permitting an increase of the taxing
limit for the year 1963 only.
To vote for the proposed charter amendment, put a
