COUNCIL RESOLUTION - GENERAL FORM
RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the City4`of
Saint Paul be permitted to install and operate a 20 -car off-
street parking lot in conjunction with Mechanic Arts High
School on Lot 2, Block 1, Central Park.-Addition., located
on the south side of .Aurora -Avenue between Cedar.and Robert
Streets inrSaint Paul, in accordance with plans approved
September 21, 1962, subject to compliance with the provisions
of all ordinances governing the operation of parking lots, and
to the condition that the sidewalk .abutting said premises be
kept clean and free of ice and snow at all times.

Dear Madam:
This is in the matter of the Board of Education for a
permit to install and operate a 20 car off - street park-
ing lot in conjunction with Mechanic Arts High School on
property located on the south side of Aurora Avenue between
Cedar and Robert Streets and described as Lot 2, Block 1,
Central Park Addition. The zoning is "C" residence.
The proposed site is .part of the Mechanic Arts High
School grounds and has a frontage of 80 feet on Aurora
Avenue and an area of approximately 7,500 square feet.
The surrounding area land uses are state properties.
Field investigation discloses no objection to the proposal.
The plans meet the standards for this type of facility and
have been approved by the Traffic Engineer.
In consideration of the above factors, the Board of Zoning
recommends the granting of the permit for a 20 car off-
street parking lot on the above described property in
accordance with plans approved September 21, 1962.
