RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the`Water
Department Filtration Plant, 1900 Rice Street, St. Paul, Minnesota, approximttly
100 tons Sodium Aluminate Tryhydrate, Nalco 0680, during period of one year from
date of City Comptroller's countersignature on contract, to NALCO CMWCAL COMPANY,
in accordance with City specifications and the Formal Bid #8978 of said Nalco
Chemical Company for the contract price of approximately $21,800.00, such bid
"being the only bid and said Nalco Chemical Company being a reasonable and reliable
bidder and the Corporation Counsel'be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper
fora of contract therefor and the proper City officials are hereby authorized to
execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul*
